Within the framework of the principles specified in the Capital Market Law and other legislation, Olmuksan can make donations with the understanding of corporate social responsibility to individuals, non-governmental organizations, associations or foundations, universities, public institutions and organizations operating in the fields of education, culture, arts, environment and sports.
All donations and aids made by the decision of Olmuksan management are in accordance with the vision, mission and policies of Olmuksan and International Paper Group; It is made by taking into account the ethical principles and values of Olmuksan and International Paper Group and national and international laws, including the U.S. Law on Anti-Bribery and Foreign Corrupt Practices. Donations and aids can be made in kind or in cash in "exceptional cases".
The limit of the total amount of donations to be made in the fiscal period is determined in the General Assembly. Olmuksan submits all donations and aids made in each fiscal period to the shareholders at the General Assembly Meeting of the relevant year with a separate agenda item within the principles of the Donation and Aid Policy and within the International Paper Group, and in line with applicable Turkish and foreign laws, including the U.S. Law on Anti-Bribery and Foreign Corrupt Practices.
In the event that the donations and aids made by Olmuksan, individually or in total, within the framework of the Capital Market legislation are at least 1% or more of the total assets of the last balance sheet disclosed to the public, necessary material event disclosures are made.
